Versatile filter Candle

Materials:

  • A polypropylene coil and core are generally used. Other materials can be chosen depending on the process and the desired chemical and thermal resistance.

PLEATED ELEMENTS

Pre-filter and/or end filter for process fluids and gases.

  

Unwanted solid contaminants are removed from process fluids, coolants and end products.

STRAINERS

Single strainers and Duplex strainers

  

Traps non-deform-able particles found in a liquid stream, protecting parts such as flow meters and pumps.

Advantages:

  • High flow rate is possible

  • Duplex version to guarantee continuous process

  • Simple, yet effective against solid particles.

SELF-CLEANING FILTERS

Used with virtually all liquids.

  

 Traps non-solid dirt particles and removed by a self-cleaning mechanism

  • Elements are cleaned without the process being halted

Materials:

  • Activated carbon is produced from coal, pinewood or coconut shells. The carbon is “activated” through chemical or thermal treatment. The activated carbon is supplied in loose form

Specifications:

  • Filter rating: Depending on a large number of factors and the retention time of the contaminated media in the carbon, virtually 100% of contaminants can be trapped.

  • Traps odour molecules

  • Protection of production units against unwanted gases
